True Friends....

Friends ….. Friends ….. Friends ……

A person can never have too many friends, they enrich our lives. But so often friends come and go like autumn leaves swirling in the wind. True friends are like the leaves still attached to the tree never stumbling in the wind. They stay with you no matter what life has to throw your way. So when you see a naked fall tree with very few leaves attached; think of how many true friends you really have.

When we are sincere in our consideration for others, in even the most trifling matters, we can bring about a complete change in the world around us.

It is Important to keep the promises made to friends. This is the true meaning of FRIENDSHIP. To become people who can do so, however, we must first learn to keep the promises we have made to ourselves.

If you remain sincere in your interactions with others, you will naturally come to find yourself surrounded by good friends

FRIENDSHIP is the most BEAUTIFUL, most POWERFUL and most VALUABLEtreasure in life. It is your true wealth. No matter how much status people may gain or how rich they may become, a life without friends leads to an unbalanced, self-centered existence.

FRIENDSHIP is tested and proven in adversity. Perhaps only those who have suffered truly demoralizing blows can fully appreciate the beauty of FRIENDSHIP.

You cannot judge the quality of another's FRIENDSHIP by superficial appearances, especially when things are going smoothly. It is only when we have experienced the worst, most crushing of times-when we have plumbed the depths of life-that we can experience the joys of genuine FRIENDSHIP. Only a man of principle, a woman of resolve-a person who stays true to their chosen path-can be a trusted and true friend, and have real friends in turn.

The Glory of Sunrise

On the way to work on Monday, there was an astonishing sunrise. I could not take my eyes off from that dawn. It was magical. All I wanted to do was STOP, or TURN AROUND and drive TOWARD it. But, the call of work was pulling me away...

I thought of the sunrise as glory and beauty, as a wonderful gift from God and a reminder of Nature's grandness. I wanted to look at it and behold it’s beauty. But I was driving in the complete other direction.

It reminded me of sin. When we sin we turn from looking to Lord Krishna and all his glory, and we drive in the opposite direction where there is darkness. Sometimes we look in the rearview mirror and see (remember) that God’s glory is so beautiful but we keep moving away from Him. Sometimes we even want to just turn around and go back to Him and behold His glory, but we get stuck in our ways and don’t repent and turn back to Him.

Soon the beauty of the sunrise fades…

After sinning so long, you may not even be able to remember how wonderful God is, and never turn to Him again.
